Shakermaker plays Indie and Rock n roll music as a 4 piece band, or as an acoustic trio, duo & solo depending on your requirements.
Standard Service
We offer a standard service which reduces costs but gives you everything you need to get the party started.
• 4 piece band/trio/duo/solo
• 2x45 minute sets of live party music, finishing by midnight
• Arrive from 5 pm (6 pm weekday)
• 60 minutes set up & soundcheck
• High-quality PA & lighting provided, suitable for audiences of up to around 300 people
• Full Public Liability Insurance up to £10 Million
Optional extras
We can also discuss additional options such as:
• Learning additional songs of your choice
• Acoustic performance during your drinks reception/meal
• Acoustic performance during your service (either instrumental or with vocals)
• Instrumental performance on acoustic guitar, of a song of your choice whilst you, walk down the aisle
• Pro DJ Service with booth, lights and requests
• After midnight finish
• Pre-5.00pm early arrival
• Upgraded PA system for larger venues

Arrival, set up, and soundcheck
We will arrive on time, smiling, and speak to the venue/event manager and load in, set up, and sound check as quickly and as discretely as possible. This takes about 60 minutes, 20 minutes of which are for 'sound check' which involves us playing live, full volume, in order to balance the sound and get the best possible live sound in your specific venue.
1st live set
After our first live set, your guests will need a break from all the dancing they will have been doing (it’s a fun set) so we like to give you all a short break at this point
2nd live set & end of the night
After our second live performance and the greatest party of your life, we will, unfortunately, need to pack down our gear and bring a close to the evening. We will do this as quickly and discretely as possible - which usually takes around 1 hour.
